Writing invoices is the half people see. The other half is the shoebox: receipts, supplier bills, due dates, input tax. KRONENWERK treats it with the same seriousness as the sales side — on the cheapest plan as much as on the dearest.

An expense with its evidence
Every expense carries its image: the photograph of the receipt, the PDF of the statement, the file that arrived by email. The evidence hangs on the posting rather than in a folder beside it — and stays for as long as your country's retention period requires.

Supplier bills and what is due
What you owe sits beside what is owed to you — with due date, supplier and payment status. A paid bill does not disappear, it is settled; anyone looking for it later finds it together with the payment.

Incoming e-invoices, checked
A structured invoice is not filed as a picture but read: lines, tax, due date — and a report of what it lacks against EN 16931. In Germany, France, Belgium and Poland the country module declares this capability explicitly.

All in one ledger
Expenses and bills are not a side list; they are postings like any other. That is why the reports reconcile: the profit and loss account knows both sides because both come from the same source.
Stated plainly
- No automatic fetching of bank transactions. Reconciliation is built but signed off with no provider; statements are imported.
- No text recognition that turns a receipt into a posting by itself. The image is kept and attached; a person types or checks the figures.
- No payroll. Wages are posted like any other expense, but KRONENWERK does not calculate or report them.

Is the expense side in every plan?
Yes. Expenses, supplier bills and their evidence are in the entry plan. No part of your accounting sits behind a dearer one.

Does KRONENWERK read a photographed receipt by itself?
No. The image is kept and hangs on the posting; a person types or checks the figures. There is no text recognition, and we claim none.

Does KRONENWERK fetch my bank transactions?
No. Reconciliation is built but signed off with no provider; statements are imported rather than fetched automatically. When that changes it will say so here.
