The plans differ by how much accounting you need, not by how many invoices you write. Somebody issuing one invoice a month does not pay for somebody issuing a thousand.
The currency KRONENWERK charges your subscription in. Not the currency your books are kept in — you choose that in your company.

A company is its own set of books, with its own obligations and its own auditor, and no plan bundles several of them. What a larger plan sells is the machinery for running several separately subscribed companies side by side.

What never depends on what you pay
What a business needs to keep its books correctly and to invoice lawfully is in the cheapest plan. Accounting you can only do properly from a higher tier is not a cheaper plan, it is a broken one.

No trial
There is no free tier and no trial.
No account without a plan, and no three, seven or thirty days after which something expires. That is more honest than a countdown that turns into a charge nobody remembered.
Payment
We never see your card.
Billing runs through Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own page and never reach KRONENWERK. You choose a plan immediately after registering, and you can cancel at any time in Settings — the subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

Then you work with what exists today, and hear in good time what it will cost later. Your books are yours whatever you decide then.
